Jørgen Fenhann is a senior scientist and has been working at the Technical University of Denmark for 42 years. He has been a member of UNEP DTU Partnership (now UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre) since its inception.
His main research interests are
- low-carbon development
- greenhouse gas country studies
- long-term energy technology development
He created the GACMO model, which can do the modelling for such studies.
Through his professional career, he has been working in many developing countries all over the world. He was a lead-author for the IPCC Special Report on Emission Scenarios and for the 4th Assessment report.
He maintains several web-sites such as the Cdmpipeline, NamaPipeline, Pledgepipeline, and Climate Initiatives Platform.
He holds degrees in physics, mathematics and chemistry.
