Through the Technology Needs Assessments Project, UN Environment, through UNEP DTU Partnership, helps developing countries determine their technology priorities for mitigating and adapting to climate change. Requirements
Over the years, the TNA project has developed a set of knowledge tools, which has been and is instrumental to the implementation of the TNA project. It is to meet new country requirements and further widen outreach of the TNA project, a new set of knowledge tools and publications are underway and need a graphic identity. The objective of this assignment is to hire a graphic designer
(Consultant) ensure that the outreach and knowledge tools developed in 2021 undergo a professional graphical layout, in alignment with UDP’s communication guidelines.
The consultant will work closely with TNA project staff in securing that the publications and other outputs undergo graphic design and follow the TNA layout and graphical identity.
Qualifications & experience
- Degree or equivalent qualification in graphic design
- At least 10 years of relevant experience as a graphic designer
- Experience in layout of UN and international reports
- Familiarity with the TNA visual identity and style and understanding of the publication requirements desirable;
Duration
1 March 2021 to 31 December 2021.
The main objectives of the assignment are to ensure that:
All written materials are produced according to the TNA and UDP visual identity guidelines
All documents have undergone a layout that is clear, concise and engaging
Performance Indicators:
All deliverables to be submitted by deadline and to the satisfaction of UNEP-DTU and UNEP
