UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre (UNEP-CCC) seeks an experienced Senior Climate Finance Consultant to support the Government of the Republic of the Marshall Islands (RMI) under the Enhancing NDC 3.0 in the Marshall Islands: Building Capacity, Policy, and Investment Pathways project, funded by the NDC Partnership Action Fund.
The consultancy will help implement RMI’s updated NDC 3.0, strengthen climate finance frameworks, and build institutional capacity for low-carbon, climate-resilient development. Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and updating the Development Assistance Policy
- Designing and delivering climate finance training for government stakeholders
- Supporting development of investment concept notes and a resource mobilization strategy
The role involves strategic and technical support to accelerate climate finance and policy implementation, with one in-country mission planned.
