The national contractor will provide technical services to assess technology needs for climate change adaptation in the agriculture sector. The work will be carried out under the direct supervision of the TNA Coordinator and in close collaboration with the national TNA team and relevant stakeholders.
Key Outputs
- Portfolio of Adaptation Technologies for agriculture, consistent with the National Adaptation Plan (NAP) priorities (e.g., food security, water-efficient agriculture, resilient supply chains).
- TNA Report detailing prioritised technologies and rationale.
- Barrier Analysis and Enabling Framework (BAEF) report to identify barriers and propose enabling measures.
- Technology Action Plan (TAP) including project ideas and policy briefs for implementation and financing.
Responsibilities
- Organize stakeholder consultations and validation workshops.
- Identify and prioritize technologies through participatory processes.
- Prepare TNA, BAEF, and TAP reports using UNEP-provided templates.
- Ensure alignment with national adaptation pathways and climate-finance strategies.
