Andi joined UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre in January 2025. With over 10 years of professional experience, he has specialized in bridging the gap between financial mechanisms, climate action, and sustainable development.

At UNEP-CCC, through his expertise in carbon market governance, climate finance, and sustainable development, Andi supports developing countries and emerging markets to develop national policy frameworks, build carbon market databases for better transparency, and conduct integrated assessments of mitigation policies and actions to support the goals of the Paris Agreement and the 2030 Agenda. His current projects include the Article 6 Pipeline, Supporting Preparedness for Article 6 Cooperation (SPAR6C), and the Sustainable Development Initiative for Article 6 (SDI).

Before joining UNEP-CCC, Andi played a key role in supporting the design, operationalization and multilateral negotiations on the cooperative approaches under Article 6 of the Paris Agreement and the Clean Development Mechanism at the UNFCCC. He also previously worked with the ILO in the Asia Pacific region, focusing on frameworks to extend social protection initiatives to workers in the informal economy, particularly in the context of disaster risk reduction. Earlier in his career, Andi built a strong foundation in public sector governance and financial oversight in Australia.

Andi holds a MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from the United Nations University – Maastricht Graduate School of Governance and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Western Australia.
