Anna Giulia is a Carbon Market Programme Officer in the Markets section at the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre. Her focus is on carbon markets, Article 6 implementation, and carbon dioxide removal.
At UNEP-CCC Anna Giulia is one of the focal points in the Article 6 Pipeline work where she focuses on project classification, capacity building efforts, and development of the A6 Pipeline Platform. Her other projects include synergies between Article 6 and Article 13, including tracking of cooperative approaches, and she supports coordination for the UNEP Carbon Market Cluster and emerging efforts on carbon capture, utilization and removal.
Before joining the UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre, Anna Giulia worked at McKinsey & Company as Carbon Market and Carbon Removal Knowledge Specialist – a role where she deepened her understanding of the VCM, Compliance markets and emerging technologies within the CDR space. She previously completed internships at the International Energy Agency and Istituto Affari Internazionali focusing on climate policy.
Anna Giulia holds a MSc in Environmental Economics and Climate Change from the London School of Economics, a Bachelor in Honours Economics from the University of British Columbia and a BA in Social Sciences from SciencesPo, Paris.
