Clarine Ovando-Lacroux holds a master’s degree in urban and regional planning from the University of California, Los Angeles. Before joining UNEP-CCC, Clarine supported the UNFCCC Technology Mechanism on climate technology policy issues, developing programme strategies and facilitating the work of the Climate Technology Centre and Network (CTCN) Advisory Board and the Technology Executive Committee (TEC). Prior to joining the UN, Clarine worked in the humanitarian sector with diverse International NGOs supporting business development efforts and project implementation in forced displacement and urban redevelopment contexts.
