Fredrick Ouma

Fredrick Ochieng’ Ouma is a climate transparency and MRV expert from Kenya with over ten years of experience strengthening reporting systems under the UNFCCC and the Paris Agreement. He served as Lead Compiler for Kenya’s first Biennial Transparency Report and leads the development of Kenya’s national MRV+ framework. He is Lead Transparency Coordinator for the G77 and China and the African Group of Negotiators, represents Africa on the UNFCCC Consultative Group of Experts, and chairs the ICAT Advisory Committee. A certified UNFCCC review expert for BTRs, he has also authored work on adaptation finance and adaptation in the climate negotiations.
