As a senior researcher at UNEP DTU Partnership, Henry Neufeldt works primarily on transparency and leads the adaptation component of the Initiative for Climate Action Transparency (ICAT) and the development of the UN Environment Adaptation Gap Reports.
Until 2017, he was Head of the Climate Change unit at the World Agroforestry Centre (ICRAF) in Nairobi, Kenya, focusing on adaptation, mitigation, food security, and sustainable development in the context of agroforestry systems.
He holds degrees in environmental sciences and soil science from the University of Bayreuth (Germany) and has worked for many years in natural resource management, soil and water salinization, agricultural development, and climate change adaptation and mitigation policies.
