Jacob is a Special Adviser working in the administration section at UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre with main responsibilities for financial project- planning, development, reporting and management support, administrative contact with partners, development and maintaining of administrative systems and processes. Jacob has a background at UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre from the academic area, with focus on policy planning, mitigation MRV, CDM/pCDM, Energy Efficiency and data modelling with involvement in the CDM pipelines, UNEP GAP reports, TNA projects, development of and contribution to the Copenhagen Centre of Energy Efficiency, among other projects.
Before joining UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre (former UNEP DTU), Jacob has been employed in the Danish private consulting and business organisation sectors with focus and experience within domestic energy planning, district heating, international business development, climate project finance and more.
Jacob has an M.Sc. degree in Environmental Science and Policy from Roskilde University, Denmark.
