Jonas Hagen works to improve sustainability in urban planning and transport in the US, EU, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. He has advised city, state and national government bodies, civil sector and private organizations on policy, delivered technical assistance, organized and given community workshops and training courses, made presentations at events, and overseen the production of influential reference documents. Jonas has contributed to media outlets on sustainable and resilient urban transport and planning. Jonas has extensive planning, advocacy, and project management experience from his work as a practitioner. He also gained strong quantitative and qualitative research skills from his PhD program. His research experience enables him to bring the rigor of science to his consulting practice. Jonas excels at navigating diverse cultures and economic and social contexts.
