Romanas Savickas is a senior Energy sector professional and Principal/Managing Consultant. His professional more than 25 years of intercontinental experience in the Private, Public & Academia sectors is grounded by theoretical knowledge and PhD degree in Energy and Thermal engineering.
Romanas Savickas is developing and managing Energy Efficiency and Climate Mitigation projects by utilising Integrated Energy Systems, District Heating, District Cooling, Renewable, Low Carbon, Buildings Energy Efficiency, Digitalisation and Hydrogen technologies, by collaborating with National / Local Governments to increase Energy Efficiency and reduce GHG emissions, creating, engaging and coordinating Public-Private-Academia Stakeholders groups. He also provides capacity building, training and other direct support to National and Local authorities, master planning, heating and cooling planning, identification of potential policy opportunities, including technical and financial estimates, development of long term Energy strategy. Activities include the development of Technical-Financial Feasibility Studies, Innovative Business Models, Legal/Regulatory/Policy, Socio-economic assessments, managing Projects of 20-250 mln. USD.
