Sarita Meeheelaul is Director of the Department of Climate Change at Mauritius’ Ministry of Environment, Solid Waste Management and Climate Change. As Director, she has led Mauritius’ work under the Paris Agreement. She also serves as the contact for Mauritius’ National Designated Entity to the Climate Technology Centre and Network. A regular participant in international climate forums, she was part of Mauritius’ delegation to COP30 in Belém in 2025 and advocates gender mainstreaming in climate decision-making.
