Lasse is a Journalist with a passion for science and research. He strives to understand and communicate complex issues creatively and succinctly and thrives doing so.
With a degree in both Journalism and International Development Studies, and having worked for both Jyllands-Posten and the WHO, Lasse knows his way around all aspects of journalism, whether it is fast online news, thorough articles or the long in-depth research. At the same time, he is able to analyze political, cultural and economic issues, especially when it comes to developing countries.
This combination of skills enables him to convey knowledge created at UNEP Copenhagen Climate Centre on our website, social media or in our publications. Making sense of the complex, complicated and sometimes completely incomprehensible, and effectively communicating it to the right audience is what he does.
Lasse’s professional interest takes up a fair bit of his time, staying updated on what is happening in the world of climate change and climate change communication.
Other than that, he spends his time with his wife, daughter, and son, traveling or expanding his collection of fine rum with exciting new versions.
